Privacy Policy

Silvergarden ("we"/"us") takes your privacy seriously. We make an indie gardening simulation game that you can download on supported devices or play through your web browser (the "Game"). We also run this website, which is basically your hub for Game info and everything related to it (together that's the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, store, use and share your information when you're using the Game, the website, or anything connected to them. Your use of the Services is covered by our Terms of Service, which you can find on the website.

CONSENT

When you use the Services, you're agreeing to how we collect, use and share your information as described here. You always have the option to decide whether you want to give us Personal Information or not. We might collect two kinds of information: Personal Information and Non-Personal Information. This Privacy Policy doesn't apply to stuff that's already public or Non-Personal Information that isn't currently restricted by privacy laws. "Personal Information" means anything that identifies you, like your name or email address. We keep this so we can run the Services and get in touch with you. "Non-Personal Information" is anonymous data, like your IP address and browser info that we collect through cookies when you visit the website. We might also gather overall user demographics. The main focus here is Personal Information, but we're being transparent about how we use Non-Personal Information too.

TYPES OF INFORMATION COLLECTED

Registration: Using the Services means you'll set up an account and pick a username. Other people playing the Game might be able to see your username. There are community areas in the Services where you can chat with others. Anything you post publicly can be seen and grabbed by anyone. Don't share Personal Information or anyone else's private stuff in those public spaces. IP Addresses: When you visit the website, we log your IP address. We use it for a few things. We need it to help troubleshoot when users report technical problems. It also helps us understand where our players are located and how they're using the service. And if someone's trying to mess with the system or break rules (like making multiple accounts), we can trace that activity. Third-Party Platforms: If you're playing the Game through a partner website, you might need to install our app on your account. Usually that means you have to accept their Terms of Service too. Device IDs: When you download the Game, we get a unique identifier for your device so the Game syncs properly. This ID doesn't include your actual name, address or any registered personal details. Support: We keep the messages you send us so we can handle your questions, respond to what you're asking, and make the Services better. User Feedback: We collect ratings and reviews from you. Just understand that the platform hosting those has its own policies. Use: We take your Personal Information and use it to actually run the Game, sort out disagreements, fix problems, check how people are using things, make the content better, catch fraud and send you administrative stuff. All of that makes the Services work smoothly, keeps it safe and lets us give you a better experience.

DISCLOSURES & TRANSFERS

We've got security measures in place to protect your Personal Information really well. We won't disclose, transfer or sell your Personal Information to anyone else without your permission, unless this Privacy Policy specifically says we will.

IMPORTANT EXCEPTIONS

There are situations where we can share your Personal Information without asking first. If we think it's necessary to identify someone, contact them, or take legal action against them because they're causing harm or interfering with our rights or property or other users' rights, we might do that. If the law requires us to share information, we will in good faith. Nothing in this policy stops you from raising legal defenses or objections to third-party requests. If there's a major corporate change like a merger, reorganization, sale of assets or stock, we might share Personal Information as part of that process, including for due diligence. The information would still be used the way this Privacy Policy says. We work with subsidiaries, affiliates and other third-party providers ("Third Parties") to help us run the Services and host data. We might share your Personal Information with them while they're helping us out. We try to pick Third Parties that seem trustworthy and able to handle sensitive info while following the law.

THIRD PARTY SITES & ADVERTISERS

Our Services use tracking, analytics and data collection from other companies like Firebase, Discord and AdMob. These services use cookies, APIs and SDKs to collect device and user data for us. They might look at device identifiers, language settings, location, IP address, how you're using the app, how long your sessions are and how you interact with ads so they can do their job. The Services might connect you with third-party vendors and websites. We don't share Personal Information with them and we're not responsible for their privacy policies. Whatever you give to third parties is governed by their rules. If you want to know what they do with your data, reach out to them directly. Ads on the Silvergarden website and Game come from us or from third-party advertisers. When you click an ad, it might take you somewhere we don't control. Third-party ad companies might drop cookies on your device to recognize you and track what ads you interact with. This Privacy Policy doesn't cover their cookies, so check their policies if you want details.

SECURITY

We use technical, contractual, administrative and physical security to protect your Personal Information. We have systems limiting who can access it. That said, nothing on the internet is totally secure. We do our best to protect your info, but we can't promise it won't get compromised. Any transmission you make is at your own risk. We're not responsible if someone gets past your privacy settings or security measures. You've got to help protect your information too. Never share passwords, your real name or address. Don't use your actual name as your username. When you're done using the Services, log out and close your browser.

RETENTION

We keep Personal Information only as long as we need it for whatever purpose we collected it, or if the law says we have to. That might be longer than our relationship lasts. We might hang onto data to prevent fraud, stop future abuse, help with legitimate business stuff like account recovery and overall analysis, or because we're required to. Anything we keep is still covered by this Privacy Policy.

ACCESSING AND DELETING PERSONAL INFORMATION

Right to erasure – You can review, update, correct or delete Personal Information tied to your account and ask us to close your account. Send requests through the in-game support or email info@silvergarden.online. We might say no if it would break the law or make things inaccurate. We might ask for info to make sure it's really you and that you have the right to access. The law might let us refuse, or we might have already deleted something as part of our retention practices. If we can't give you access, we'll explain why unless the law stops us. Access comes with some limits though: Information that's protected by legal privilege. Information in the middle of formal dispute resolution. Information about other people that would reveal their data or something confidential. Information that would cost way too much to pull. For deletion requests, we do what we reasonably can to remove personal information, but stuff related to payments or customer service stays for legal reasons. We might keep information if we need to exercise or defend our rights. Even after you delete something, we can still use anonymized, Non-Personal Information about how you used the Services. Got questions about your rights? Email info@silvergarden.online.

Withdrawing Your Consent

If you gave us permission to collect, use, transfer or sell your Personal Information, you might have a legal right to take that back or object to how we're processing and transferring it. To withdraw, reach out to info@silvergarden.online. Just know that withdrawing consent could mean we can't give you certain products or services. We'll let you know what the impact is so you can decide.

TRANSFERRING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We might process, store and transfer your Personal Information to countries outside your own where privacy laws might not be as strict. Governments, courts, law enforcement or regulatory agencies might be able to get your information under their laws. We make service providers, including cloud companies, promise to keep your info private and secure the way this Policy says and the way the law requires. Want to know more about service providers in other countries? Get in touch. By using the Services or giving us your information, you're okay with us transferring, storing or processing it.

OUR POLICY REGARDING CHILDREN

If you're under 13, you need a parent or guardian to say it's okay before you use the Services. We won't knowingly work with anyone under 13 without that permission. We think parents and guardians should keep an eye on how their kids use the Services. If you think a child gave us their information or you're worried about what we're collecting from them or want us to stop and delete it, email info@silvergarden.online and we'll try to remove the info and sort it out.

AMENDMENT OF THIS POLICY

We can change this Privacy Policy whenever we need to. If we do, we'll post a notice on the website. Small changes like clarifications happen right away, but bigger ones take effect after 30 days. This Privacy Policy applies to all your Personal Information unless we say otherwise. You can see when it was last updated at the bottom. If you keep using the Services, that means you're accepting any changes.
